Dr. Caleb Epps, MD
Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr. Caleb Epps serves as a Diagnostic Radiologist for Cognitive FX. He joined the CFX team in 2016 first as a Radiology Research Associate where his research included the diagnostic uses of fNCI and Notus Neurocogs in the assessment of cognitive function in Major Neurocognitive Disorder, development of a theoretical model of neurovascular coupling in PCS pathophysiology, and the discovery of imaging biomarkers in PCS.
Dr. Epps attended Brigham Young University where he completed his BS in Nutritional Science. He then graduated with honors from Columbia University with his MS degree in Human Nutrition. He attended medical school and received his MD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During medical school, his research interests varied and included the use of tissue expansion in prosthetics, pathologic-radiographic concordance in breast cancer, and his work with Cognitive FX. He was inducted into the John B. Graham Medical Student Research Society in 2015.
Dr. Epps remained at the University of North Carolina where he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology, ultimately serving as Chief Resident. During residency, he pursued further research in the field of Neuroradiology, earning a certificate of merit from the American Society of Neuroradiology for his work on memory fMRI for pre-surgical planning in the pediatric epileptic population. Dr. Epps’s clinical interest include Pediatric and Neuroradiology. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.
