Dr. Julie Van is a Research Scientist with over a decade of experience in academic, clinical, and industry settings. She earned her Ph.D. in psychology with a specialization in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience.
Dr. Van currently serves as a Research Scientist at Cognitive FX, where she leads patient care and consultations using functional neuroimaging treatment approaches. Her work focuses on improving long-term cognitive health outcomes for patients with post-concussion syndrome and brain injuries. Prior to her current role, Dr. Van coordinated federal and foundation-funded investigations in medical center research groups, examining cognitive, mental health, and functional outcomes in critically ill patients. As a former Data Scientist, she managed client accounts and conducted data analysis for government agencies. Dr. Van has also spent time as a Researcher at academic institutions, where she conducted human-subjects research in experimental psychology and supervised junior researchers across labs.
